Zithromax When I first started the zith, I thought I had found my miracle drug. I was able to do things I hadn't felt like doing in years. After being on it for 2 months it stopped working and I went back to where I started from. It's very disappointing.
zithromax seems to help tremendously incombination No side effects on me It works well in combination with mepron
Zithromax Personal Bio:
My name is Elizabeth and I will 50 in Jan '03. I have been diagnosed with SLE, secondary Sjorgren's, RA, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, Raynaud's & fibromyalgia for about 6 years. I had symptoms since I was about 17 and an MD boyfriend told me when I was 21 that I had Sjorgren's but at that time little was known about it other than causing dry moisture producing glands.
Also had had numerous bouts of pneumonia/ bronchitis, infections, peritonitis and more before being diagnosed. Skin reactions from sun began in my late 20s.
After having my twins I had chronic pain and then failed back surgery. I did not heal well from surgery so was sent to rheumatologist who gave all the foregoing diagnoses. On my own I discovered that when given Zithromax for pneumonia and vasculitis, I felt sooooo much better for at least a month after using it and even longer sometimes. One doc let me use it for about a month and it did work, but my rheumatologist poo-poo'd my results.
zithromax I take it IV along with Doxycycline IV and it is the only thing thus far that has helped my neurological symptoms like the brain fog and seizures,ect. My 6 year old takes the oral Zithromax and had a really bad herx, infact that was how she was diagnosed originally, by the herx she had during a strep throat bout of zithromax. She woke up screaming and holding her head and got a really high fever. she was taking the Zithroamx for strep but she didn't have any symptoms, no fever, no sore throat, just a mother's intuition that she was sick sent me to get a throat swab. She developed a high fever and brain swelling three days after beginning her antibiotic course.
zithromax I am 53 year old male and I was bitten by a tick I guess it was in 1988. I got a bullseye rash on my neck. It was very distinct {now that I have become educated} but just looked like a ring worm to me at the time. It went away after a while and I assumed my body had defeated it. I am a carpenter and after about five years I noticed pain hurt me more than my co workers (meaning they could perform tasks and it would not bother them like it did me.}
I was hearing about lyme and had by then seen a picture of the rash. I went to the doctor told her my story, she said there was no lyme in the area but she tested me. It came back negative. I said does that mean I definitely do not have lyme? She said yes. I took several tests over the next 10 years and was getting migraine headaches, back pain, knee pain, stiff neck joint pain, and then one day in 2001 I was sick and I was working in a large attic and was kneeling and stood up abruptly forgetting crosstie above me and I bumped my head very hard. That was enough to make me go home and when I got there my wife told me my eye lid was drooping and to see a doctor.
The doctor ordered a cat scan and then a MRI then told me I must have MS and to see a neurologist. None of the doctors I saw would believe my lyme story. I begain to have an anxious feeling in my left torso it got worse to the point that I had to pace or run feeling panic at times which leads people to think I was panicy over my condition' not so the weakness and burning sensations coming from the complete left side of my body and my left temple were so strong it overwelmed my brain with more distress signals than any man could stand. With no knowledgable help in my area and no doctor willing to stick his head out and believe me I went to mayo clinic and riding in the vehicle rolled up in a fetal position ,taking benidrill to knock me out. I paced the floor all night at the motel was ready to have my self committed so they would drug me. We finally
Zithromax Good prescription. Only has to be taken once a day for 5 days. I have been using it for past 5 years off and on for bronchitus infections and have found it to be very effective.
zithromax good antibiotic, few side-effects
Zithro may work I contracted Lyme more than one year ago, began treatment within 7 days of tick bite. ZMX was prescribed and my symptoms are relatively mild, I work, exercise. Get very tired in PM. Used in combo with Ominicef and later Mepron for suspected bebesia. Currently on flagyl and Bicillin shots. Not yet cured.. Rocephin next.
Was prescribed a z pak for a sinus infection (male, 46 year old, generally good health). The next day, following the taking of the first dose, which was 2 pills, I experienced some heart rhythm issues, which resulted in shortness of breath. It should also be noted I took cough syrup with codeine the previous evening too. Not sure if one or the other could be contributing to the heart rhythm issues.
Useful only in a Combined Antibiotic Protocol Azithromycin has been an essential part of a long term, Combined Antibiotic Protocol for Chlamydia pneumoniae treatment in my CFS, FMS, IC, arthritis.
Used this drug to treat bronchitis. I had to take two rounds of the drug, either because it was a really bad infection, or because of my anatomical changes relating to gastric bypass surgery (malabsorption). Drug was very easy to use, and there were no side effects. I would definitely recommend.
This drug is a,azing! I had a severe sinus infections and ear infection and this cleared them both up in no time!
