Reviews/Feedback:
XENICAL IS A VERY GOOD PRODUCT AND IS EASY TO USE, BUT YOU DO HAVE TO TAKE IT WITH A BALANCED DIET LOW IN FAT OR ELSE IT WONT WORK.
very good but if you dont follow the instructions you can get stomach cramps and diorrhoea
VERY EFFECTIVE But only if combined with a very careful daily log of food intake and an accurate daily nutritional record kept in which you establish limits of caloric intake and a limited fat intake representing no more than a 30% contribution to calories (1 g of fat produces 9 calories). I have been very disciplined in maintaining this daily log and am careful to take the pill WITH each meal, before the meal or within one hour. I walk 2 miles per day in 40 minutes without stopping. I have no diarrhetic problems to speak of although 'going' can sometimes be 'messy'. One should keep locations of public washrooms in mind when away from home. The complaints I read on this list I would suggest are symptoms of a poorly disciplined diet, lack of exercise or misuse of the pill. In my opinion Xenical should be taken by obese Type 2 diabetics to be most effective. For those not diabetic and simply 'overweight'(BMI < 30) it is less effective especially if proper dieting is not observed, fat intake is not limited and lifestyle does not include daily physical exercise.

My results speak for themselves. Weight loss to date is 40 pounds and BMI = 28 (day 169). I am a Type 2 diabetic and insulin dependant. My insulin intake has been reduced by 67% from day one. I am hoping to lose a further 20 pounds to achieve a BMI = 25. At the current rate of weight loss and glycemic decrease there is according to the endocrinologist a possibility that I may be put on diabetic pills and abandon the insulin.
So far I am into my third day of takking this drug which I have had no side effects except a mild headache in the morning which gets progressively worse throughout the day but nothing too heavy - I have had no problems with stools as I am restricting my intake of fat. Each time I find myself looking at food which has a high fat contect I remind myself of the negative side effects in terms of oily spotting and difficult toiletting and so it is acting as a psychological gastric band!! Brilliant drug if you are able to resist fatty foods and respond well to the worry of symptoms. I am hoping to lose three and a half stone in six months will udate at a later date - am keeping a blog under billiebimbo at open university if you want follow xx
Oily stools are only a problem is you overeat fats. The negative side effects are enough to deter probably anyone for overeating. I did experience a mild headache and had to leave med off for at least a day from time to time.
Lost weight and drug well tolerated. Only problem is oil stool and leaking especially when you eat high fat foods. Of course you begin to learn what is high fat content and not which trains you to eat better. Also my cholestral number went down. This drug is only one I lost weight on however the downside is the loose bowels, gas, etc that you may have.
Lost 90 pds and kept it off for 8 years. This never happened to me before. It has changed my life. But please note that Iron and fat solouble vitamins can be depleted by this drug. Also, the more fat I eat, the more likely to have an accident.
Ive been on this medication for 2months and I have lost 30 pounds. If you stop eating fast food and eat smaller amounts it works!! I'm so Happy and Thankful for this medication!!
It works. Not only for weight loss, but also lowers bad cholesterol levels. Fantastic drug. Highly underused and underrated.
I'm a young female, & I was struggling to loose weight. I'm 21 years young & I should have been living my life to the fullest. Weight always held me back from doing just that. Until I tried this, and at first I was sketchy on what made it so different than any other diet pill. Then I found out. I had energy all day long, while loosing weight, it made me feel great. Never had I had an experience like that. I would recommend this to future diet weight loss seekers!
I'm a 20 years old male, weight over 220, high 5 feet 10. I started taking this drug when i couldn't fit into my jeans. I lost about 10 pounds in like 6 weeks after i started taking it eventhough i'm following wrong instruction like taking it before the meal. Now i'm following the instructions and i'm sure i'll get more satisfying results.
I was 575, I now weigh 387.what a wonderul difference in my life.

How to use

Read the chart on the medicine package. You may consider starting Xenical if your weight is the same or more than the weight shown for your height. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions.
Take Xenical by mouth with each meal containing fat. Do not take more than 3 capsules daily.
If a meal is missed or contains no fat, do not take a dose of Xenical.
Xenical may decrease your absorption of vitamins. Take a multivitamin once a day at bedtime.
Ask your health care provider any questions you may have about how to use Xenical.
Drug Class and Mechanism

Xenical is a weight loss medication that targets the absorption of fat in your body rather than suppressing your appetite. It is useful for long term use and has been shown to be effective for 1-2 years. Dietary fats are inhibited from being absorbed and this allows about 30% of the fat eaten in the meal to pass through the gut undigested. This helps you to reduce and maintain your weight, as well as to minimize any weight regain.

Xenical can also help to improve risk factors, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol and high blood sugar which, if not treated, could lead to other diseases such as hypertension and diabetes.

Missed Dose

If you miss a dose of Xenical, take it as soon as you remember. Continue to take it as directed by your doctor.

Storage

Store Xenical at room temperature, between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C). Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep in a tight, light-resistant container. Keep Xenical out of the reach of children and away from pets.
Warnings/Precautions

Do not use Xenical if:

you are allergic to any ingredient in Xenical;
you are not overweight;
you have problems absorbing food or bile flow problems (e.g., cholestasis);
you have received an organ transplant;
you take cyclosporine.
Contact your doctor or health care provider right away if any of these apply to you.

Important :
Do not take more than the recommended dose without checking with your doctor. Taking more than the recommended dose may not help you lose more weight. It may increase your risk of side effects.
Proper diet and exercise are important in order to lose weight and keep it off. Follow the diet and exercise program given to you by your health care provider.
Xenical may cause changes in your bowel or stool (e.g., gas with oily spotting, loose stools, more frequent stools). Eating a low-fat diet may help lessen these side effects.
Tell your doctor or dentist that you take Xenical before you receive any medical or dental care, emergency care, or surgery.
Diabetes patients - Xenical may affect your blood sugar. Check blood sugar levels closely. Ask your doctor before you change the dose of your diabetes medicine.
Xenical should not be used in children younger than 18 years old; safety and effectiveness in these children have not been confirmed.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Do not take Xenical if you are pregnant. If you become pregnant, contact your doctor. It is not known if Xenical is found in breast milk. Do not breast-feed while taking Xenical.
Possible Side Effects

Check with your doctor if any of these most common side effects persist or become bothersome:

diarrhea; gas with discharge; frequent or loose stools; oily spotting; trouble controlling bowel movements.
Seek medical attention right away if any of these severe side effects occur:
severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); severe or persistent stomach pain.
