Reviews/Feedback:
works well, except for some of my worst triggers...beats using my rescue inhaler all the time.after reading the reviews,i have to say that i wish folks would pay attention to things like"not for children"before complaining about it!
works so far I've been taking Singulair with Advair for about three weeks. Was just diagnosed. Am now able to talk and walk without coughing constantly. But,my chest hurts and it's tight. Otherwise, what a tremendous improvement!
works really well for my son's asthma, and it tastes good, which is a good thing because he wouldn't take it otherwise
Works for my 3-yr-old My 3-yr-old was finally diagnosed with cough variant asthma a few months ago. She has been remarkably healthy since she started taking Singulair every night. When she gets a cold I nebulize her in the morning and at night, and that seems to keep her illness from spiraling into a sinus infection or an asthma attack. No side effects yet, but I will keep an eye out for the leg cramps, as that seems to be a common one.
Works for me I was put on Singulair Montelukast 10mg about three years ago and in the beginning it was fantastic, but after a while it was less effective, but now after longer use of this medication it is absolutely great. I am on this for life my doctor said and as long it is doing what it is meant to do, that is fine with me.
Works but side-effects I took Singulair for 6 months due to breathing problems caused by allergies in the summer/fall. It worked perfectly - I went from struggling to get each breath to breathing normally - it was like a miracle. On the bad side, I started getting severe leg cramps about 3-4 months after taking it. I am off it for the winter but will check with my doctor before starting again due to the leg cramps. Also, it's not cheap without a prescription card - $99.00 a month at my pharmacy.
Worked at first/Now I dont notice any results When I first took Singulair many years ago I believe I felt improvement from it.
I believe it took 2 weeks to kick in.
I still presently take it but dont notice any dramatic results from it alone.
Wonderful I have been taking Singulair for 3 years now. I work in an office with the Executives up a small flight of stairs, 5 to be exact. I am the only assistant to 3 of them, so you can imagine how often I climb those stairs. I started taking it after I was hospitalized for pheumonia. Three weeks later I didn't feel any different, but about half way thru my day I noticed I wasn't wheezing, and so did my bosses. We were all elated! I mean to breath normally, I had never experienced it before. I remember saying to them, "Wow! I can't believe it! This is what it feels like to have air in your lungs? This is phenominal!". Now I take both Singulair and Advair and the change has again been wonderful. I can take deeper, longer breaths with out the inhaler in my hand. I'm free!
Was put on this medicine two years ago for allergies and asthma that I developed as an adult after moving to another state. This medicine has been great. Briefly went off it for 2 months when I thought I was doing good had an asthma attack so bad I was unconscious and do not remember much. Started taking it again afterward and have not had attacks as bad since. Only complaint is it is really expensive wish it was cheaper but it works wonders and keeps me out of the hospital.
Was not effective after several months I took Singulair with Flovent for several months. I then stopped the Flovent and took just Singulair. It seemed to be as effective by itself. But after 2 months it seemed to stop working.
Very pleased Yes, it worked well. Cleared up the heavy, breathing through liquid feeling I was experiencing. The only negative seems to be stiffness in joints.
Very Pleased Been using in conjunction with Allegra and it really seems to be doing well on both my allergies and related Asthma.
