Reviews/Feedback:
works fairly well.
Within one week on the lowest dose, I went from crawling around in blind terror during a nightmare to dreams of buying kids burgers at Mac Ds
the nightmares went away.
Prazosin has greatly decreased my nightmares and flashbacks, however I would suggest both a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy as well.
I was put on mimipress for night torrors and so far it has helped quite a bit
i know i still have nightmares but the med keeps me from remebering them so i don't carry the bad feelings throughout my day.
for me it works very well
I just started this not very long ago and initially my nightmares decreased in both intensity and frequency. I'm on 10 mg at night, but I think I might need to go up to keep the benefits of it going. I am having some issues with palpitations, but it might or might not be related to this.
I have never slept so well without a nightmare or constantly waking up. In aid with counseling my ptsd, agoraphobia and social anxiety have been improving.
I have been taking Prazosin 2 mg for about 2 years now. My nightmares are gone and not had any bad side affects so far. I'm not much into medications but I have found this to do what it was suppose to do without any ill side affects. I only take it in the evening with my meal. The reviews with the pancreas problems has me concerned and would like to find information on this
For me, the edge was taken away from the nightmares. They used to be very vivid, with terrifying outcomes. Not so much now. I fight sleep less.
