Zyrtec plus Pepcid worked wonders for me I had taken every antihistamine out there, and finally was put on Zyrtec, which got rid of my hives to some degree but not entirely. Then I was put on Pepcid in addition to the Zyrtec, and the combination of the two kept the hives away virtually all the time--a huge relief after years of chronic hives!
Tried Prilosec first however it gave me terrible headaches. Went to generic Pepcid and after about 2 or 3 weeks noticed significant improvement. Now I take it to keep the symptoms at bay. I take 10MG two times a day.
this medicine was easy to take and treated the disease i had without many side effects.
This medicine really helps acid reflux don't take it away. Its great.
Seems to work, but after 60 days I really am noticing a terrible smell to my urine and now my breath! Do not know if that's normal or not. Otherwise, feeling better, no gastric spasms since two weeks into therapy.
RELIEF!!! I found Famotidine extremely helpful for bladder pain, perianal burning, and food intolerance. It was prescribed by a doctor but is now available over the counter as Pepcid AC. Dosage was 20 mg. twice a day. Results came very quickly--in just a couple of days. I did not experience any noticeable side effects. I took it as prescribed for two months. I am now able to control most of my symptoms with diet, but I would return to Pepcid AC for symptom relief, if needed. I highly recommend it!
Pepsid Complete AC-0ral tablets always work for my indigestion. Unfortunately, I can't find it on any of my pharmacists' shelves these days. I wish I knew where I could get it. Most stores just indicate that there is a problem getting this product from the company/distributor without any other details.
Pepcid This was first medication I used to treat reflux. Had many good features...over the counter for one, but it simply wasn't strong enough to treat my very persistent reflux.
Pepcid really works Like many people with IC, I also have IBS and acid reflux. I took Elmiron with great results for the IC for about 6 months but the side effects finally got the better of me (weight gain and hair loss). I read cmelehani's review on Remedyfind and talked it over with my Urologist. We decided that I would go off the Elimron for a bit and try the Pepcid. The first week was tough. I had a lot of diarrhea and almost gave up. But after my body adjusted to the Pepcid I began to feel better. Not only did the flares subside but the IBS all but disappeared. I have been on the Pepcid since Aug 4th. (less than a month). What a recovery! Thank you cmelehani for the great idea. I now have energy and have even tried a couple of forbidden fruits with no ill effects what so ever. My stomach feels better too. With all the pain I had with the IC and the IBS I never realized that my stomach was always in knots. I'm a new person.
Pepcid mini-dose I should have had my presciption for the 10 mg size, because the maximum I can stand without getting a migraine is about 4 mg. It's work nightly shaving off about that amount from a 40 mg pill.
When I started omeprazole (Prilosec) as my better cure, I still had a problem with pain in my upper right abdomen that only the Pepcid can touch.
Famotidine is nine times stronger than Zantax (rantidine), so I can take one-ninth as much and reduce my chance of a migraine.
When both the famotidine and omeprazole fail, I chew a Tums.
Pepcid is effective I am a long term sufferer of GERD.I started taking Pepcid (Famotidine) and it has been very effective for me.I am very happy with it.
Pepcid complete is the best medication for heartburn that I have found. It works almost instantly (like 10 minutes, sometimes less) and I feel it lasts a long time. The pills even taste good, like the berry and mint flavor.
