Reviews/Feedback:
would like to know if lipitor can raise level of creatinine
Works well. No side effects. Liver tests. Lipitor lowered my levels rapidly with no side effects, however, it did cause liver damage (as shown by my ALT liver test results). I now take 1/2 a pill 3 days per week (MWF) and it lowers my levels but not as effective at lower doses. I figure I can mitigate my liver damage risk and get some benefit from the drug using "pulse doses" 3 days a week. My levels are TotCho=205 which is ok.
Works well I take Lipitor for my cholesterol and was pleasantly surprised to find it helps with my MS symptoms. I was hesitant at first to take another drug but have been happy with this one.

The only disadvantage it the need for bloodwork every 3 months to check liver enzymes.
works well for me I take half a 10mg tablet once per day. Dramatically dropped my cholesterol numbers, maybe not so great on triglycerides. No side effects I notice, but my doc checks enzyme levels now and then to be sure. Since my insurance covers it, I don't really know what it costs. Not sure exactly when I started taking it, but it's been several years.
Works great. No major side affects.
wondering if this pill is making my ears ring...anyone else
With a healthy diet and Lipitor my average reading for over the past 3 yrs is 105!!!
who knows? I wonder what kind of side effects I may have in the future because I can't trust that any statin is absoutely "safe".
For now I don't have any other option but taking lipitor to lower my cholesterol because it was very high.
I think is a good lowering cholesterol but I'm afraid of the side effects with the time.
When my doctor first prescribed statins, he started me on Provocohol, but it did not seem effective. I was switched to Lipitor with good results.
When Lipitor was prescribed for me my cholesterol was 246 and when it was checked again at 9 months of use, it had dropped to 155! My doctor, and I, were very pleased.
When I started Lipitor I had severe muscle fatigue and aches. After a few months the ache and fatigue went away and my cholesterol went way down.
What is to describe in taking a little pill?
