Reviews/Feedback:
was working ok, but now am feeling confused, am hallucinating. have lost 20lbs. since first given. should the dose be reduced?
Twice I have had overdose problems because my physician did not perfor periodic blood level tests. In the first instance the overdose was determined by an emergency room visit because my defibrilator implant discharged. The second time complaints of headache, dizziness, and fatigue caused my physician (a new physician, at that) to order a digoxin test.
This medication has worked for me for 3 years with no known side effects.
Seems to be doing the job.
Never seems to stop AF
I've been in A-Fib 2 times in 18 mo. I now have a pacemaker and take digoxin oral. All startee on 9/29/08. So far very good!
I have experienced nausea, visual disturbances, extreme fatigue, pounding of the heartbeat very pronounced. Also taking Sotalol. The combination has controlled my Atrial Fibrillation since cardioversion on Nov. 18th, but has left me feeling not so good, thinking the dosage is too much for me.
I am 57 Female, family history of heart problems. I have AF from severe stress resulting in depression and panic attacks that caused racing pains in the heart. The digoxin helped immediately to stop the pains and I take an anti depressant to help till I get the worst of the stress out of my life. I think I will be all right now; I didn't know it I would make it before I got help from the doctors.
Controlled Atrial Fibrillation when taken as soon as possible with uncontrolled heart beat.
atrial fibrillation
As a man, the enlargement of my breast has caused me some pretty severe pain. So painful at times they are touchess.
AFTER MY DIALYSIS TREATMENT MY HEART RATE WENT CRAZY. THE CENTER SENT ME TO THE ER BY AMBULANCE WITH A HEART RATE OF 168 AND AFTER TRYING OTHER MEDICATIONS THE DR. FINALLY TRIED DIGOXIN AND IT WORKED IMEDIATELY. IT WAS A GREAT RELIEF. I HOPE THIS IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN AFTER EVERY DIALYSIS SESSION. I WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT MORE INFORMATION AS TO WHY IT HAPPENED AND IF I CAN PREVENT IT FROM HAPPENING AGAIN.
