Tolterodine My bladder spincter was permanantly contracting, and this has helped a bit, now supra-pubic and still using it.

this is the only one that worked for me and side effects were a slight dry mouth.

this is one i won''t give up! Detrol LA has been so effective and gives me such peace of mind, i just love that there's a drug for bladder problems! i only take one at night most often, but once in a while, if i need to, i'll take an extra one during the day. i'd hate to stop ever taking it!

The medication has worked, but the dry mouth and nose are tough at times. I also get very short burts of sever dizziness (last less than 30 seconds). I have excellent dental care and self mouth care, but my breath is really bad! Does anyone else have this breath problem? It is not a dental issue with me.

How to use

Use Detrol as directed by your doctor.

Take Detrol with water or another nonalcoholic liquid.
Swallow this medication whole. Do not break, crush, or chew before swallowing.
Continue to take Detrol even if you feel well. Do not miss any doses. Taking Detrol at the same time each day will help you to remember to take it.

Drug Class and Mechanism

Detrol is an antimuscarinic agent. It works by blocking a chemical that causes contractions of the bladder.

Missed Dose

If you miss a dose of Detrol , take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

Storage

Store Detrol at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C). Brief storage at temperatures between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) is permitted. Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep Detrol out of the reach of children and away from pets.
