Wow! I've been infertile 10years! I've remarried and moved out of town. This is when I found my doctor who prescribe clomid. I have irregular periods all my life. In March of 2010 he prescribe provera (to induce period) and clomid 50mg. It didn't work. Next month provera and clomid 100mg didn't work. So I waited and waited until July to take provera and clomid 150mg. Read that: 150mg!!! and it work! I had my period on August 2. I am now 1month pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't lose hope everyone! I wish you all luck!
worked the first time
When I first started it I was fine. Then on day 15 of my cycle after I finished the med, I had SEVERE abdominal pain (I wanted to go the hospital) but I pushed through it. On day 21 I went and had blood work done to see if the medicine worked and IT DID!! Now our next step is to take a pregnacy test! Fingers crossed!

I am 27 and my husband is 28, we are wanting a baby just like everyone else, niether of us have kids yet. This was my first month on 150 mg. Hopefully something will happen soon. I come into this website about 2 times a week and want to thank everyone that has there input, it helps me keep hope that this medication will work. I hope that in the end it will all be worth it. Thanks and never lose hope. Best wishes to all of us in this journey.
Well I am going my second dose 50 mg das 3-7 pretty soon and I am keeping my fingers crossed. My doctor told me with tests after 6 months that i still could take clomid i would just have to be monitored more often. Or go to a fertility specialist. But im hoping the clomid works :) As far as side effects i had hot flashes and a heavy period the last day and sharp pains the last day. But it will be worth it. So baby dust to everyone!!!
tried 3 cycles and became pregnant! now have a beautiful 1 yr old baby girl. I had quite a few issues while takeing it like abdominal distention=( and I am woundering now if I have hypothyroidism and if clomid might have caused it but I have my baby girl and would do it all over again!
took 50mg clomid 1st time, no side effects accept hot flashes, it didnt work that time, so just took 100mg and bad side effects. Nausea, Horrible cramps, hot flashes, dizziness. but it did help them grow! Went for the IUI on Saturday, so we will see what happens.
today is my first day on 50mg clomid. so i cant really say it has worked for me. got my fingers crossed! need more blessing and prayers for baby. i have an ultrasound next week. will keep yall posted.
this would have been my third month taking 100mg of clomid but it worked!! i would take them days 3-7 of my cycle and get a blood draw on day 21. they had even told me i didnt ovulate. but i wouldn't get my period and come to find out im pregnant!! so everyone is different. we don't all ovulate at the same time. don't give up ladies and keep praying.
