works ggod on sinus infection.
Works fantastic. Cleared up my symptoms in under 3 days. And to the other people out there, if it leaves a bad taste, BRUSH YOUR TEETH!!! Mouthwash works too! Everything has side effects, at least this wont kill you...
Worked great on the sinus infection; however, horrible headache everytime I moved my head, or coughed, . . any movement.
When my twins were babies, the occasional bout with otitis media, happened here and there. We were always prescribed Augmentin. It worked wonders, but always gave the babies diarrhea. Be certain to follow the BRAT diet throughout the entire course of therapy, and if it's for a young one still in diapers PREVENTION of diaper rash (load up on Balmex/Desitin or A&D), is imperative.
Took this medication for 10 days to treat a sinus infection. Had no side effects whatsoever, however my appetite was not the same. On Day 10, I broke out in hives/red itchy rash. I am hoping this goes away since today is my last dose. Have no complaints except that it might guarantee a rash if you have been on it for a prolonged period of time.
Today is day 5 of treatment for a sinus infection. I have had no bad side effects from this med. I think it is a great drug!!!
This medicine helped me with my sinus infection right away. I've been on it before, so I knew I had to eat alot every time I take it, and as long as I have a pretty good size meal right before I take it, I'm not too sick to my stomach. One thing I have noticed is that I'm extremely tired and low on energy which could have to do with my sinus infection anyways...I also am taking a probiotic with it.
This med was my 2nd antibiotic and it was working for I had been suffering for 3 weeks already but you need to eat alot of food with it and drink plenty of water. The diarrhea started on the 3rd day. I felt really tired and run down while on it. I probably should have gotten another med but I toughed it out I don't want to end up resistance to antibiotics. I will not take this med again that's for sure.
This is the best antibiotic out there for me. It clears my ear congestion up and sinus problems from my allergies better than anything else. I wish more doctors would prescribe this instead of pushing zpack. My internist wants to always prescribe regular amoxicillan and it just doesn't work for me.
This is my 2nd round of antibiotics (1st round was with Z-pack) for bronchitis. The tablets are hugh. For whatever reason, it created diarrhea but managed with yogurts prior to taking medication.
This drug (the 875/125 dose) was prescribed for me for acute sinusitis with severe ear pain/pressure. I started to feel an effect on the 2nd day, and now (day 4) I can say I am definitely feeling better. I get dry mouth during the first hour after taking the drug, and ever since day 2 I have had pretty bad diarrhea, very watery, and a lot of gurgling in the belly, but thankfully no stomach pain. Will try to get rid of the diarrhea by eating more yoghurt/acidophilus. Overall, I'm happy with it.
Stomach, at ease. Vagina, ON FIRE! After a miserable experience with nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea with Doxycycline, I was more than glad to be put on Amoxycillin. Although I am not a fan of antibiotics, I knew I need them to combat the Lyme's bacteria. Being vegan I don't exactly get a chance to replace beneficial bacteria in my body through the foods I eat, so I upped my dose of L. Acidophilus: Six capsules a day in stead of two. Unfortunately this was not enough to ward off the dreaded yeast infections associated with prolonged antibiotic use. I ended up treating the infection topically until my Amoxycillin ran out, got a prescription for Diflucan to finish it off, and followed up with four L.Acidophilus pills a day until I felt I was in the clear.
I have yet to be tested again to see if more antibiotic treatment is necessary, but if it is I will most likely use Amoxycillin if not a more natural approach.
